Aurora, IL — July 27, 2009 ヨ As scientists delve deeper into the study of human biology, science itself becomes more personal, as do issues of bioethics and the moral responsibility of science. On Thursday, August 13, the Total Living Network (TLN Comcast Digital Basic Cable Channel 138) will host a forum discussing bioethics issues and how science can find new cures while respecting individual humanity. The National Forum on Stem Cell Research will address the dramatic effects of Adult Stem Cell Transplants and address issues and questions regarding Embryonic Stem Cell Research with a distinguished panel of experts.

Following a documentary screening, panelists will discuss the moral responsibilities of science in a live taped forum before a studio audience.

Panelists include Jennifer Lahl, founder and national director of The Center for Bioethics and Culture Network, Dr. John A. Kessler, Professor of Stem Cell Biology and Chairman, Department of Neurology, Northwestern University’s Davee Department of Neurology, Dr. Richard K. Burt, Head of Immunology, Northwestern Memorial Hospital & Pioneer of the use of Adult Hematopoietic Stem Cells for Autoimmune and Immune Mediated Diseases, Wesley J. Smith, special consultant to The Center for Bioethics and Culture Network and Corrina Archuleta, a former Lupus patient who was healed by an Adult Stem Cell Transplant.

TLN will host the National Forum on Stem Cell Research at its television studio in Aurora, Illinois on August 13, 2009. The event will begin at 7pm with a documentary screening, Lines that Divide produced in association with Boulevard Picture and The Center for Bioethics and Culture Network, followed by the live taped forum from 8:00pm-9:00pm.
