For the last 24 years, the CBC has been a sought-after authority on bioethical issues. From our first efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of egg “donation” to our ongoing efforts to support the biological reality of sex, the CBC has never shied away from the necessary controversy of saying “No” to profit over human dignity.

The legacy of the CBC is in our writing, research, and films. It is in our efforts to continue the work of Paul Ramsey – a man who anticipated many of the moral challenges we now face in science and medicine and pioneered a thorough ethical analysis of these challenges.

We all have a legacy. Our work, achievements, and of course our families, are all included in our legacy and the influence we leave in this world. As the adage goes: “Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.”

August is National Make-A-Will month. A will protects your loved ones and allows you to create a lasting, generational impact. It is your apple tree that feeds generations.

Including the CBC in your will is one way to make a generational impact. Through planned giving, you become a forever part of the mission and vision of the CBC. The process is easy, so please contact us to discuss including the CBC in your estate planning.

In addition to thinking about charitable giving through estate planning, you can become a supporter through monthly giving, a gift of stock, or a grant from a Donor Advised Fund to help promote the CBC locally and worldwide!

As the summer is starting to wane, we here at the CBC are still in full swing! The CBC will be proudly featured at domestic and international conferences, in numerous interviews, and through our research and writing published regularly on our website. We are also busy planning our first-ever Paul Ramsey Alumni meeting this fall.

Please reach out at any time to connect and discuss our ongoing work or the possibility of hosting a local event with the CBC in your area. We are grateful no matter how you give because your gifts make our work possible.
