This summer a new movie from Dreamworks is coming to theaters. It is called, “The Island“.
Hollywood does an excellent job of raising ‘human future’ questions and concerns through films. Think of the many, The Boys from Brazil, GATTACA (my personal favorite), I-Robot and the Sixth Day. I will be interested to see how the Island raises the very same questions about the human future that I see facing us in this 21st century. From the trailer, you are asked to imagine what it would be like if you could live forever. Is this the perfect life, or the perfect lie?
