Today we are pleased to announce the 2017-2019 cohort of our Paul Ramsey Institute (PRI). As many of you already know, the Paul Ramsey Institute is our signature educational initiative to further the thought and ideas of Paul Ramsey, to educate, and to shape future generations of bioethics leaders.
Our latest cohort includes Fellows from Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; Duke Divinity School; and Bucknell University, to name only a few. I invite you to have a look at their impressive bios on the Ramsey Institute website.
Beginning this fall, our nine new incoming Fellows will meet six times over the next two years in San Francisco alongside some of the brightest scholars in the field of bioethics to wrestle with some of the most pressing issues in the field today.
In April, we were pleased to host our first ever Paul Ramsey Institute alumni meeting where we gathered with our current and past cohorts to celebrate the success of this program over the past five years. Our alumni are now attending and teaching at some of the nation’s finest academic institutions, contributing new research and publications within their respective fields, and even opening up their own medical clinics.
Thank you for your continued support of the Center for Bioethics and Culture, which allows us to ensure that Ramsey’s great contribution to building a human future continues through our work today. It’s a privilege to carry on this project and we thank you for partnership with us.
