Thiel, co-founder and former chief executive officer of the online payments system PayPal. de Gray, an aging researcher hopes to radical postpone aging and give us indefinate life spans. de Gray said, “we have vintage cars driving around that were designed to last 15 years–and they’re 100 years old. So why should humans be any different? He hopes now that his funding is secured his research can help us to live thousands of years.
